Triple S Steel Announces new President Nataly Marks

Houston, TX –- Triple-S Steel, a family-owned steel distributor, has announced a significant leadership change with the appointment of Nataly Marks as the company’s first-ever non-family President. Marks, a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of experience, officially joined the company in August of 2022.

A Legacy of Growth and Family Values

The announcement comes during a pivotal moment for Triple-S Steel, which has grown from a small, family-run business to a national leader in the steel distribution industry. Founded in 1960 with just 10 employees, the company now boasts over 2,000 colleagues, 52 locations, across 17 states and 5 foreign countries. Triple-S Steel was the 12th largest service center in North America in the 2023 Metal Center News Top 50 with 2022 sales of $2.6 billion.

Building on a Strong Foundation

Triple-S Steel’s CEO, Gary Stein, expressed his confidence in Marks’ leadership, stating, “Nataly’s personal and professional experiences make her the ideal candidate to build upon the company’s achievements. Her expertise in fostering a winning culture aligns perfectly with our family values, while her commitment to innovation positions us well for the future.”

Marks’ Impressive Background

Marks brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Prior to joining Triple-S Steel, she served as Head of Middle Market Banking for JPMorgan in Houston. Throughout her career, Marks has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a dedication to excellence.

Marks graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance.

A Passion for People and Community

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marks is a dedicated community leader. She currently serves on the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership and the United Way of Greater Houston and has held previous board positions with various non-profit organizations.
